Text file manipulation

Hallo!
I am a writer and not a programmer. One of the most difficult decisions for me is understanding how well a particular language is suited to a tesk set.
I want to be able to tag english text sentences with Parts-of-Speech copied from a two language dictionary I am building.
I want to be able to copy the tags and put them in brackets behind a given word, which a script will read from a sentence.
Is there functionality in Phantom designed to address this task?
I am sure that there are users out there who can answer the question.
There are probably users of Phantom who have tackled such and could perhaps help me.
I look forward to hearing from any of you who have the experience.
Incidentally are there scripts available from an archive which one can try out to gain experience?
Kind regards, forkinpm
